PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress battery drain by preventing overheat of an imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: The lens unit 4 is equipped with a CCD image sensor 20 and the battery 53 or the like to feed power to the CCD image sensor 20, and attached to a camera body. The CCD image sensor 20 is attached to one end 51a of a first thermal conductor 51 through a first circuit board 47 and an insulating sheet 49. The other end 51b of the first thermal conductor 51 is folded and exposed to the outer periphery of a lens barrel main body 4a. An integrated circuit device 64 for processing a signal from the CCD image sensor 20 is attached to one end 57a of a second thermal conductor 57 through an insulating sheet 69, and the other end 57b of the second thermal conductor 57 is exposed to the inside of a battery housing chamber 55. Thus, heat generated in the CCD image sensor 20 is discharged to the outside, and the heat of the integrated circuit device 64 is discharged to the battery housing chamber 55, so that the overheat of a photographing device is prevented and the battery drain is restrained.
