PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM AND PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal identification system and a personal identification method for reducing transmission data and for reducing a communication means load by using high correlation between a template image in registration and a template image for identification. SOLUTION: This personal identification system is provided with an auxiliary image generation means for generating an auxiliary image configured of image information identical to a registration template image or partial image information from the registration template image; an auxiliary image storage means for storing the generated auxiliary image with ID information in a storage means, and for storing it through the communication means in a client side storage means; an XOR information generation communication means for transmitting XOR information acquired by executing XOR arithmetic operation to the auxiliary image stored in the client side storage means from biological information acquired by the client side biological information acquiring means through the communication means; and an authentication template image generation means for generating an authentication template image from the transmitted XOR information and the ID information and auxiliary image stored in the storage means.
