PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new pigment having higher color intensity and higher color saturation. SOLUTION: The invention relates to substantially crystalline organic pigments of the diketopyrrolopyrrole, quinacridone, anthraquinone, perylene, indigo, quinophthalone, indanthrone, isoindolinone, isoindoline, dioxazine, azo or phthalocyanine series consisting of 0-8 wt.% of particles with more than 0.12μm of average size and less than 0.01μm of average size based on weights of the particles with 0.01 to 0.12μm of average size, and having a full width at half maximum of a CuKαradiation X-ray powder diagram of from 0 to 0.68°2θ.
