A system and related method for establishing a resource for animal breeding, genomics, genetics or biomedical research, the method comprising selecting as founders a group of individuals of the animal species, maintaining or propagating the group of individual entities such that a clone or an identical descendent or a progeny group of each member of the group of individuals is in perpetual potential existence; and creating a comprehensive database which includes information on the phenotypes and genotypes of each member of the group of individuals and their progeny. |
