<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a board mounting connector having good rigidity with saving space. <P>SOLUTION: The board mounting connector comprises a housing 2 on which two or more contacts 3 and a holder 6 are prepared, a resin housing 4 holding the contacts 3, and a shield case 5 engaging with the resin housing 4. The shield case 5 has a shield case joint 55, and a connected object 8 is mounted through an aperture 61 into the holder 6 to connect a board 7 to the object 8. At least two of contacts 34, 35, or 36 forming a first contact group 32 are selected as a contact unit 33; and then in the contact unit 33 and the contact, pitch between joints 34c, 35c, and 36c is narrowed in comparison with contacts 34aa, 35aa, and 36aa; and the shield case joint 55 is arranged on the side of the contact unit 33 near a line of the joints so that it can be fixed to the board 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
