PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophoretic display for enabling a stable display over a long period of time. SOLUTION: An electrophoretic display medium is used in the electrophoretic display, and contains one or more sets of coloring particles in a dielectric fluid. At least one set of one or more sets of particles contains the particles having an acid function part giving substantially uniform negative charges to the particles.
