PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize phenomenon of decomposition of natural gas hydrate. SOLUTION: The water produced by decomposition of natural gas hydrate 301 is evaporated by ignition of a first burner 213 applying the natural gas similarly produced by the decomposition as a fuel, and the produced steam is led into a cooking chamber 221, while further heated by ignition of a second burner 242 applying the natural gas produced by the decomposition of the natural gas hydrate 301 as the fuel, thus a temperature in the cooking chamber 221 is raised to a temperature necessary for cooking food material 401 received in the cooking chamber.
