PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact fin tube heat exchanger of high performance by improving heat transfer coefficient at an air side. SOLUTION: In this fin tube heat exchanger comprising a plurality of flat fins 110 and heat transfer tubes 131-139 penetrating through the flat fins 110 and arranged in the row direction, forming flow channels 20, 21 of airflow 120 by flat fins 110 adjacent to each other, and exchanging heat between the airflow 120 and a refrigerant flowing in the heat transfer tubes, a slit 151 opened to the adjacent flow channel and inclined to the main flow direction of the airflow 120, and at least one cut and raised portion 141 inclined to the main flow direction of the airflow 120 are formed on the flat fin 111 between the adjacent heat transfer tubes 131, 132, and the slit 151 and a slit 171 respectively formed on the adjacent flat fins 111, 112, and the cut and the raised portions 141, 161 are respectively disposed in a state of intersecting with the flat fin 110 in the vertical view.
