<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent intrusion of water into a cabin from the outside at a corner part where a retainer for retaining a mounting base part of a door weather strip for an automobile door does not exist. <P>SOLUTION: The water discharge structure for the automobile door is provided with the door weather strip 7 fitted/mounted to the retainer 6 in which a portion at a roof side and a portion at a pillar side are connected by a corner portion and the mounting base part 7a of the respective portions is provided on an outer peripheral part of the door. A water discharge groove 11 communicated with a vertical groove 10 formed on the portion at the pillar side is provided on a back surface of the mounting base part of the corner portion positioned at the roof side of the door weather strip, and on an inner side surface 11b at an upper side of the water discharge groove, three reinforcement ribs 12 for ensuring rigidity of the mounting base part by abutting a distal end 12a on an inner side surface 11c at a lower side are provided when the mounting base part is deflected/deformed and fitted to the retained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
