PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanner apparatus adaptable to a Scan To Email function and to provide a terminal and a scan data processing program. SOLUTION: The scanner apparatus 10 connected to a relay server 5 via a network and capable of transmitting scan data read by an image read section 19 to the relay server 5 directly or indirectly by means of mail, is provided with a data transmission program 49 that allows an external storage device 8 to store the scan data together with destination address data denoting a destination of attached mail attached with the scan data when detecting that the transmission of the scan data to the relay server 5 via the network is disabled and information can be written in the external storage device 8.
