VIDEO SWITCHING APPARATUS AND VIDEO SWITCHING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video switching apparatus capable of photographing a specific position by another camera when the specific position can not be photographed by a certain camera.

SOLUTION: The video switching apparatus comprises: a storage part 112 for recording positional information concerned with the position of a specific photographing target included in prescribed photographing targets, position registration information including camera information concerned with a camera 140 for photographing the specific photographing target and history followed up in each position; a photographing video receiving part for successively receiving the photographing videos of the specific photographing target photographed by the camera 140; and a cross point 113 for switching the camera for photographing the specific photographing target from a camera 141 on the basis of the position registration information when a reception judgment part judges that the photographing videos of the camera 141 are not successively received.
