<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device having excellent display quality, and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device being an embodiment of the present invention has a liquid crystal layer 203 sandwiched between an array substrate 110 and an opposite substrate 201 disposed opposite each other, and a reflection part and a transmission part are provided in one pixel.
