PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire leak intake air quantity in compression stroke and acquire accurate intake air quantity used for combustion. SOLUTION: Assumed compressed inner pressure when it is assumed that intake air does not leak in compression stroke is calculated from combustion chamber volume and combustion chamber inner pressure at bottom dead center in suction stroke, and is compared with actually measured combustion chamber inner pressure.
