<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-manufacture hollow golf club head which keeps a fiber-reinforced resin combined with a metal material. <P>SOLUTION: This head 1 has a head main body 19 made of a fiber-reinforced resin, a face member 3 made of a metal, and a covering member 5 which reaches the heel side from the toe side of the head through the back side. The head body 19 is constituted by bonding an upper member 21 to a lower member 23 through a bonding boundary k. The covering member 5 is bonded to the head main body 19 while covering a section which is not covered by the face member 3 of the bonding boundary k.
