A skin cooling aerosol cosmetic composition is provided to show excellent skin cooling effect and maintenance capability by making a sprayed material form a gel and then lowering the evaporation speed of cooling gas, be convenient for use, secure the stability, and improve the crackling effect. An aerosol type skin cooling cosmetic composition sprayed in a gel phase comprises 30-80 wt.% of an aerosol original solution and 20-70 wt.% of an aerosol spraying agent and is characterized in that the aerosol original solution includes 0.05-2.0 wt.% of a water-soluble polymer. In the composition, the spraying agent is at least one selected from the group consisting of hydrofluorocarbon, dimethylether, propane, n-butane, iso-butane, and iso-pentane, and the water-soluble polymer is at least one selected from the group consisting of carbomer, hydroxyethylcellulose, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, hydroxypropylcellulose, hydroxypropyl gua and xanthan gum.
