The invention relates to the self-cleaning devices for cleaning liquids, in particular, to the devices for removal of mechanical impurities from powerful fluid flows. To increase of output and extension of the possibilities of using the purifier the perforated part of cylindrical filter element is gradually reduced along the height to the side from the inlet to the drain of radial channels, which heights are equal to the located opposite heights of the perforated part of the filter element.
