PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expandable thermoplastic elastomer composition that can give stabilized foamed product and a method of producing the same. SOLUTION: The expandable thermoplastic elastomer composition comprises (a) 10 to 90 pts.wt.of an olefin resin or an olefin rubber (wherein the olefin resin or the olefin rubber melts or softens at lower than 140°C) based on the total of (a) to (c) = 100 pts.wt., (b) 9 to 85 pts.wt. of thermally expandable micro-capsule expanding at 120 to 300°C based on the total of (a) to (c) = 100 pts.wt., and (c) 1 to 50 pts.wt. of a composition having an evaporation rate of more than 0.5 g/1000 cm<SP>2</SP>/h based on the total of (a) to (c) = 100 pts.wt. wherein in the case of that (c) is water and/or a moist-including composition, the 1 to 50 pts.wt. is decreased to 1 to 30 pts.wt.
