PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor having excellent electric characteristics by preventing increase in leakage current. SOLUTION: In a solid electrolytic capacitor where a solid electrolytic layer composed of conductive polymer and a carbon layer are formed sequentially on the surface of an anode body composed of a valve metal, scalelike graphite is employed for forming the carbon layer and the maximum length of the scalelike graphite is set less than the thickness of the solid electrolytic layer. As an example, the carbon layer is formed by screen printing mixture paste of the scalelike graphite having a maximum length of 0.2-8μm and carbon black mixed at a predetermined ratio. Mixing ratio of carbon black in the mixture paste is preferably 2-10% by weight ratio. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
