PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form openings for exhausting air which entered inside without degrading the strength of a connection part of cylindrical labels 2. SOLUTION: The end part of the used cylindrical label 2A and the tip part of a new cylindrical label 2B are put in an abutting state and held to holding means 4, 10, and connecting tapes 46, 54 are stuck and connected to the end and tip of both cylindrical labels 2A, 2B by a connecting means 28. At this time, the openings 58 passing through the connecting tapes 46, 54 on both faces are formed by a cutter 38 integrally provided at the connecting means 28, and air which entered the cylindrical labels 2A, 2B is exhausted from the openings 58.
