Provided is a data regeneration device, which is enabled to realize regeneration of no interruption at an effective/ineffective switching position of a band extending function, even in case the effectiveness/ineffectiveness of the band extending function is switched in a stream. The data regeneration device (2000) comprises an input frequency acquisition unit (2001) for analyzing header information (Hdr) to acquire an input frequency (FSin) or the frequency of basic data, an output frequency determination unit (2002) for performing a predetermined processing on the basis of the input frequency (FSin) to determine an output frequency (FSout) or the sampling frequency of a decoding frame (Fdata), and a decoding unit (2003) for decoding sample data with the input frequency (FSin), if an SBR function is effective in a frame to be decoded, to expand the band of the sampling frequency to the output frequency (FSout) by an SBR processing for the decoded result, thereby to sampling up, if the SBR function is ineffective, the decoded result in the input frequency (FSin) to the output frequency (FSout).
