PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device for a vehicle capable of accomplishing suitable foot side lighting in response to requirement of a driver by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: An arrangement position of a light source unit 10 is constituted to be switchable between a first set position where an optical axis O is directed to operation pedals 101-103 and a second set position where the optical axis O is directed to a floor surface 105 behind the operation pedal. First and second lens optical units 20, 30 provided with first and second fly eye lenses 22, 32 are arranged making them relevant to respective set positions. Thereby, at driving operation of a driver, for example, respective operation pedals 101-103 can be preferably lighted by setting the light source unit 10 to the first set position. Whereas, at getting on/off of the driver, for example, a floor surface 105 can be preferably lighted by setting the light source unit 10 to the second set position. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
