PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cotton bud which readily removed substance applied to a human body, such as mascara with pinpoint accuracy or lumps such as makeup lumps. SOLUTION: The cotton bud is composed of a rod material having an elastic part which is foldable and restorable nearly at the center portion and a cotton portion arranged at both ends of the rod material. The use of the cotton bud facilitates removal of lumps or a mascara. Furthermore, since the cotton bud can be comparatively inexpensively used as a throwaway article, hygiene is expected to be improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
