PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition of an inorganic plate material having excellent functionality such as magnetic attracting property, heat conductivity, electrical conductivity, electric wave absorptivity, electromagnetic adsorptivity and sound insulating property and excellent strength and made thinner than that of a conventional one. SOLUTION: In the composition of the inorganic plate material consisting essentially of a hydraulic material and aggregate and containing an organic fiber, 15-80 pts.mass hydraulic material, 5-50 pts.mass aggregate having specific gravity of 1.0-<3.0 as low specific gravity aggregate, 10-76 pts.mass aggregate having specific gravity of 3.0-8.0 as high specific gravity aggregate and 4-10 pts.mass organic fiber are blended. The method of manufacturing the inorganic plate material is carried out by a round screen type paper making machine using the composition in which the aggregate having particle diameter adjusted to≤150μm as the high specific gravity aggregate and a cellulose fiber having beating degree adjusted to 100-300 CSF as the organic fiber are blended.
