PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display system capable of adjusting video parameters of a user selecting area for video signals received from an image source device 10. SOLUTION: The display system which adjusts video parameters of a user selecting area among a complete image to be displayed is characterized by comprising: a level detector 201 which detects a line pattern; a pattern receiver 204 which receives a pattern linked to the detector 201; a pixel counter 202 which is linked to the receiver 204 and measures a first horizontal coordinate value from a reference point of a starting pixel of the complete image to the end tip of a position indicator; a pattern analyzer 204 which computes a second horizontal coordinate value from the reference point to the end of the vertical surface of a video control area based on the first horizontal coordinate value; and a video preamplifier 207 which adjusts at least one parameter among the video parameters of the video control area.
