PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector equipped with a cover that can be detached smoothly from body case, even if the cover is configured to cover the bottom surface and the side surface of the body case. SOLUTION: Hooks 621 and 622 extending in parallel to the bottom surface part 61 and having hook parts 624 and 625 formed at the leading ends thereof are formed on the side surface part 62 of the cover 6 for covering the bottom surface and the side surface of the body case 1. Catching parts for the hooks 621 and 622 are provided on the body case 1, and a plurality of projections 35A to 35C are provided at fixed intervals from the end part of the bottom surface side 31 of the body case 1. The length L of the hook part is made equal to or smaller than the height H of the projection. When the cover 6 is attached to the body case 1, the hooks 621 and 622 are caught by the catching parts, and a gap is formed by the projections 35A to 35C between the body case 1 and the cover 6. By pressurizing near the end part of the bottom surface part 61, the cover 6 is flexed by taking the projection 35A as a fulcrum, then the hooks 621 and 622 are disengaged; and then the cover 6 can be removed easily from the body case 1.
