<p>A histone microarray comprising a substrate support functionalised with at least two probe molecules each comprising a sequence derived from a histone protein, or isoform, or variant, or modification thereof. A histone microarray in which probe molecules have sequences derived from different histone proteins. The histone microarray of the invention can be used in methods for screening and characterising antibodies exhibiting binding specificity for histones and to specific histone modifications, as well as methods for screening and characterising the effects of histone modifications on the activity and binding of histone specific enzymes and binding proteins.</p> |
