PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic superior in soft focus effect, having a mat feeling, concealing texture and wrinkles of the skin, having smooth touch and superior in shielding effect against ultraviolet ray. SOLUTION: The cosmetic is formed by blending a component (A) which is a composite pigment having a form where fine particle titanium oxide having an average primary particle size within the range of 10-100 nm is dispersed in a metal hydroxide and/or a metal oxide, its particle sizes are distributed in the range of 0.5-10μm, and the ratio of the mass of titanium oxide to the mass of the composite pigment is within the range of 30-40%; a component (B) which is a spherical powder having an average particle size of 2-30μm and a component (C) which is a fine particle metal oxide having an average primary particle size of 10-100 nm.
