The invention describes a method for obtaining gut with marks and a meat product with marks. Said method is based on gut in the form of a pleated tubular wrapping that is impregnated with a colouring composition in at least one segment of its surface in order to obtain gut with marks, said marks optionally being transferred to the meat sausage product contained in said gut.
