<p>At the start of DHO, the base station handling a cell, into which a mobile unit moves, receives from the mobile unit a DHO start notification. This is then notified to a wireless network control apparatus, which is an upper order apparatus than the base station, and an instruction of adding a wireless link is made to the base station. A timing of transmitting data to the mobile unit is then decided and rounded, and the data is then transmitted from the base station to the mobile unit. At this moment, the timing of a search window for receiving data from the mobile unit is shifted because of the rounding of the transmission timing, so that the width of the search window is enlarged. At a termination of DHO, the base station receives a DHO termination notification from the mobile unit. The base station returns the enlarged width of the search window to the original width thereof at a proper timing.</p> |
