A body composition measuring instrument (100A) comprising a mounting unit (110A) on which a subject can be mounted, and an attachment unit (150A) which can be attached to the neck of the subject. The mounting unit (110A) includes current application electrodes (E21, E22) for foot and voltage measuring electrodes (E23, E24) for foot which can be touched to the sole of the subject, and the attachment unit (150A) includes a current application electrode (E11) for neck and a voltage measuring electrode (E12) for neck which can be touched to the neck of the subject. With such an arrangement, a body composition measuring instrument which can measure the body composition easily with high precision while suppressing measurement error can be attained.
