<p>An image processing system in which a clearer image can be displayed when raster data is enlarged and displayed. The image processing system comprises an image generating system and an image display system. The image generating system includes an image reading section for reading original image data consisting of the raster data, an edge image generating section for extracting the edge of the original image data to generate an edge image, a normal image generating section for reducing the original image data to a predetermine size to generate a normal image, and a download data generating section for storing download data in a predeterminedstorage area. The image display system includes a download data reading section for reading the download data and a display processing section for displaying the normal image, and superimposing, the enlarged normal image and the edge image for display upon reception of a request to enlarge the normal image.</p> |
