PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a bismuth-glass-based amorphous glass tablet which exhibits appropriate fluidity at hermetical bonding of e.g., an evacuation tube for a flat display device, is resistant to softening deformation in the subsequent evacuation step at 370 to 420°C, and therefore avoids the situations of evacuation tube shifting leading to clogging of evacuation hole and perforation leading to air-tightness deterioration. SOLUTION: The amorphous glass tablet of the present invention is an amorphous glass tablet containing a low-melting glass and a refractory filler, wherein the low-melting glass has a glass composition containing, by mol% in terms of oxides, 30 to 60% Bi<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 10 to 40% B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, and 10 to 50% ZnO, and the refractory filler has a composition containing, by wt.% in terms of oxides, 30 to 100% SiO<SB>2</SB>, 0 to 45% Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 0 to 35% ZnO, 0 to 20% ZrO<SB>2</SB>, 0 to 20% TiO<SB>2</SB>, 0 to 10% Li<SB>2</SB>O, and 0 to 25% MgO.
