<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic image display device which displays a stereoscopic image of an object imaged by an imaging means and moreover can grasp a depth distance of the stereoscopic image as an actual value corresponding to an imaged distance of the object by the imaging means. <P>SOLUTION: The stereoscopic image display device: preliminarily stores index image data for right and left eyes formed by imaging an index body group disposed by arranging a plurality of index bodies side by side at predetermined intervals in one side direction by means of an imaging means having two imaging systems for right and left eyes from a predetermined outward position on the one end side of the index body group; displays object images for right and left eyes corresponding to object image data for right and left eyes formed by imaging the object with an imaging means, and index images for right and left eyes corresponding to index image data for right and left eyes stored beforehand onto a display means 8 for displaying images for right and left eyes with respect to a right eye and a left eye of an observer; and allows the observer to observe the stereoscopic image 11a of the object imaged by the imaging means and a plurality of index body images 10a respectively corresponding to the plurality of index bodies of the index body group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
