PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve run flat durability, while restraining an increase in tire mass. SOLUTION: This run flat tire 1 has a toroidal carcass 6 reaching a bead core 5 of a bead part 4 via a sidewall part 3 from a tread part, side reinforcing rubber 9 arranged inside the carcass 6 and forming a cross-sectional substantially crescent shape, and the bead apex 8 extending in a tapering-off shape outside in the tire radial direction from an outside surface of the bead core 5.
