The method and device for combined relay with multiple relay stations in wireless communication networks are provided in this invention. Specially, according to the invention, in single-hop or multi-hop relay communication links, a relay station would select combined relay processing of space diversity or space multiplexing together with other relay stations at the same hop, so as to achieve the space diversity gain and space multiplexing gain.
