A battery pack is provided to perceive charge and discharge of a battery cell without a current sensor, and to save a production cost thereof. A battery pack(100) includes: a rechargeable battery cell(111); an external terminal which is connected in parallel with the battery cell through a high current route; a voltage sensor(115) which is connected in parallel with the battery cell and the external terminal, senses the voltage of the battery cell, and outputs the voltage as an electrical signal; a control part(116) which is connected in series between the voltage sensor and the external terminal, converts the signal input in the voltage sensor into a digital signal, and processes the signal according to predetermined control commands; a micro computer(117) which is connected in series between the control part and the external terminal, receives the voltage of the battery cell from the control part, monitors the voltage to output a control signal to the control part, and perceives the charge/discharge state of the battery cell according to a change in voltage of the battery cell; and a memory part(118) which is connected to the micro computer and stores the voltage of the battery cell received through the control part. |
