Heat treatment method and apparatus are provided to raise heat efficiency and shorten heat treatment time by efficiently maintaining heat treatment atmosphere in a heat treatment space. A heat treatment apparatus comprises a gas circulating member(20) installed at a heat treatment furnace(1). The gas circulating member(20) intakes gas at the upper portion of the heat treatment furnace(1), and exhausts the gas to the lower portion of the heat treatment furnace(1). The gas circulating member(20) comprises a gas intake pipe(30) installed at the heat treatment furnace(1) and a fan unit(40) installed outside the heat treatment furnace(1). The fan unit(40) comprises an inlet port(72) connected to the gas intake pipe(30) and an outlet port(74) connected to the lower portion of the heat treatment furnace(1). The gas intake pipe(30) comprises a vertical pipe(34) and a horizontal pipe(32). |
