A traction lift that has a drive mechanism (4) comprised of a motor with or without reduction gear and a traction sheave (6) that is positioned at the upper part of the hoistway (1) so that the traction sheave is parallel to the near wall of the hoistway wherein the car guides (8) and the counterweight guides (9) are mounted. The suspension of the counterweight frame (5), via wire ropes (7), is done at points (11), which are outside the plane passing through the center of gravity of the counterweight (5) but also outside the plane defined by the guides (9) of the counterweight. The automation panel (3) is positioned on any floor of the premise in a special rack that is an extension of the floor's door (10). |
