An apparatus that alerts users of an electric stove that the stove's heating elements are on, comprising a means of determining when voltage is being used by the stove's heating elements and, when voltage is being used by the stove's heating elements, a means of measuring intervals of time. Following each interval of time, the apparatus alerts the stove's users with an audible sound.
