A method for processing lead accumulator scrape consists in discharge of the electrolyte, mechanical processing of the accumulators, grinding, separation of organic fraction from non-organic one which is carried out by immersion in gravity solution which density is not less than 1.3 kg/cm3 and smelting with reduction of non-organic fraction which is carried out under the temperature of 525-572 DEGREE C. At that a gaseous reductant is continuously fed to the smelting zone.
