SHARE OF VIDEO DATA BY USING CHUNK DESCRIPTORS IN SVC FILE FORMAT

摘要

A method for sharing video data in an SVC(Scalable Video Coding) file format by using a chunk descriptor is provided to perform a random access by a scalable layer unit in one frame. One frame is formed as one or more scalable layers(L1-L3). The respective scalable layers(L1-L3) are classified by the minimum unit such as an NALU(Network Abstraction Layer Unit). A random access unit is set up in one frame by the NALU to be capable of performing a random access by a scalable layer unit. The random access unit is set up by a byte unit to secure a perfect random access.
