PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nucleic acid probe collectively detecting bacterial strains of the same species irrespective of the strains, differentially detecting the bacterial strains from other bacterial species and immobilized on a carrier for the purpose of classifying pathogenic bacteria by the species and to provide a method for testing a DNA using the same. SOLUTION: Any one of specific base sequences or a combination of two or more thereof is used as the probe which is mutually arranged at an interval for detecting the DNA of an infectious disease pathogenic bacterium (Porphyromonas asaccharolytica).
