PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connection body having a connecting element retaining mechanism suitable for increase in number of connecting elements. SOLUTION: In the electric connection body 2 for electrically connecting electrodes opposed between two devices, a connecting element 10 having a first beam 12a having a first contact 14a connected to one of the opposed electrodes and a second beam 12b having a second contact 14b connected with the other of the opposed electrodes grasps and retains a carrier 4. According to such an electric connection body 2, increase in the arrangement number or narrowing of pitch of the connecting elements 10 can be easily performed since the retaining structure is simplified.
