PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the wall thickness of a formed bent part by plastic working without conducting swaging. SOLUTION: An intermediate product 20 has a bent part 22 formed by pressing, and an apparatus is used for increasing the wall thickness of the bent part 22 of the product 20. The apparatus is provided with: a punch 1, which has a contour face 2 forming the internal shape of a product after increase of the wall thickness and fits the intermediate product 20; pressure rollers, which roll the intermediate product along a side face 2c of the punch 1 toward a bent part 22 while pressing the intermediate product 20 against the side face 2c; and a die 4, which has a holding face 5 holding a bottom wall 21 of the intermediate product 20 between the punch 1 and itself, and which receives the increased amount of the wall thickness, produced by the above rolling, with the holding face 5 so that the wall thickness of the bent part 22 is increased.
