The invention relates to a prodrugs of 9a-substituted estratrienes of general formula (I), wherein the Z group is linked to a steroid, (I). The invention also relates to a methods for the production thereof, pharmaceutical compositions which contain said compounds, and to the use thereof. Said inventive compounds of general formula (I) do not bond with the oestrogen receptor alpha and/ or beta but they bond with carboanhydrases and inhibitors of said enzymes.
