A device for assisting management of medical information, where individual inputs of common medical information into different devices are eliminated without relying on the data structure of data base that an existing electronic medical-record device has, and thereby a burden on medical personnel in charge of the data input into the devices is reduced. The device for assisting management of medical information has a reception section (36) for receiving medical information inputted by the user, a medical-record-information creation section (54) for creating medical-record information, which is medical information to be recorded in a medical record, according to a predetermined format by extracting a predetermined part of or the entire medical information from the medical information received by the reception section (36), and a report-information creation section (52) for creating report information, which is medical information for creating case report, by extracting a predetermined part of or the entire medical information from the medical information received by the reception section (36).
