<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle flushing assistance system capable of performing flushing by preventing appearance of a printed material from being damaged without requiring a selective work of printing paper sheets when printing with bookbinding is carried out. <P>SOLUTION: An inkjet printer 100 acquires a job ticket including cutting information and obtains the cutting information from the acquired job ticket, and then determines a region cut out when performing the bookbinding as an invisible region based on the obtained cutting information.
