PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a change to specifications with boom suspension from specifications without the boom suspension. SOLUTION: This tower crane is furnished with a boom 3 axially supported on a revolving body 2, a jib 4 axially supported on the boom 3, a front drum 10, a rear drum 11, a boom derricking drum 12 and an additional drum 13. The additional drum 13 is a drum to be added in changing the specifications without a hook 6 for boom suspension to the specifications with the hook 6 for boom suspension, and a rope diameter of a wire rope 13a wound around this additional drum 13 is made the same as a rope diameter of a rear rope 11a.
