PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further efficiently suppress a temperature rise of a coil in an electromagnetic relay performing opening and closing of a contact by electromagnetic force. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic relay comprises a fixed terminal board 5 having fixed contacts 5e and 5f, a movable terminal board 4 having a movable contact 4a, an electromagnet 2 switching a first current path for bringing the movable contact 4a into contact with the fixed contact 5e and a second current path for bringing the movable contact into contact with the fixed contact 5f, a core 2b inserted through the electromagnet 2, a bottom plate 1b fixing them, and a radiation plate 7 having a radiating terminal 7a protruding out of the bottom plate 1b without contact with the fixed terminal board 5 and the movable terminal board 4 while being partially connected with the core 2b, the radiation plate being interposed and fixed between the bottom plate 1b and the core 2b.
