<p>The method for knocking control of an internal combustion engine entails the ignition angle for one cylinder (10,20,30,40) being adjusted with a first adjusting speed in a first retarding direction if the device identifies a knocking noise for this cylinder. The resulting retarding adjustment of the knocking cylinder is checked by comparison of the ignition angle control stroke of the knocking control for the knocking cylinder with a mean value of the ignition angle control stroke for all cylinders of the engine (1) and determines whether the knocking noise is true or false.</p> |
